Meet Zoe and her best friend Mia. Zoe can’t wait to go to the carnival once she finds out adorable Noah will be there. At the end of a great night, a fortune teller invites Mia and Zoe to have their fortunes read. Sounds fun, right? Wrong! What happens when everything goes wrong and Zoe is cursed with bad luck? Can she stop the curse before something truly horrible happens? And why is Noah mad at her all of a sudden?
When Morgan has a falling – out with her two best friends just before the start of seventh grade, she realizes she needs new friends – and fast! Mo comes up with an idea to meet new classmates by trying out a different group of people every day to see who clicks and who doesn’t. It’s a friendship experiment!
Unfortunately, making new friends may be harder than she thought. Mo saves herself from one embarrassing situation only to find another one right around the corner. Constant teasing and pranks from her former BFFs, the “Mean Ghouls,” only add to her trials. Will Mo’s experiment be successful, or is she doomed to a friendless school year?

When Maddy’s soccer league fundraiser is cancelled so the student council can throw a Valentine’s Day Dance, Maddy is furious. She’s ready to boycott the dance! Maddy soon realizes, though, that everyone wants to go to the dance, including her BFF Sarah and her super-popular (and super-annoying) older sister Monica.
It’s one hilarious disaster after another as Maddy tries to save the soccer fundraiser and her friendship (and, by the way, why is Maddy’s cute friend Josh acting so weird around her?)!
The Valentine’s Day Disaster is exclusively available in the Scholastic Book Clubs.
